33

That's how many years Jesus lived on this earth.
In that amount of time he lived, loved God, loved people, healed people, baptized people, taught people about God, died on the cross for the sins of every person in the world, and was raised from the dead.

Pretty humbling to say the least!

Its strange to think that i'm now the same age He was when he died.

I am not anxious to die...but I should be more so. I mean to live my life for His glory, but I should be looking forward to eternity more.

I had an amazing quiet time this morning. I've been studying the book of James, and today I was working on figuring out the theme for the whole book. It was really a remarkable time with Jesus. Thanks Lord!

I had a nice day at my mom's house. Paetyn showered me with homemade cards, scrapbooks, and initiated the decorating of the dining room. Other than that it was a pretty regular Thursday...which was just fine. Mom made me a divine Cherry pie.

Somehow tonight didn't turn out very well. A frustrating email from a friend. Two phone messages. Kids who were slower than usual getting to bed. A blog calling to me. A husband anxious to talk and make me happy...despite all the junk.

So, February 22! :) February 22, I left the warmth of my mother's womb and started the journey of becoming who I am today. Jesus made me who I was then and he keeps on making me every day.

Lord God, please bless Elevation

James 5:11 We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord's dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

There's baloney in our slacks!

we're Ani-mani- Totally insaney Ani-mani-acs! Those are the facts.

Happy Valentine's from my sweet man! I got the 1st season of Animaniacs. I was in college when I started watching this show...so I wonder if anyone who reads this has even heard of it. Its full of silly yet intelligent humor! Lots of parodies--we watched Les Miseranimals, and a great one of the Major General's song from the Pirates of Penzance. Also Pinky and the Brain started out here.

Today I'm sad...we found out some good friends got laid off from their jobs...so after some time to process, it was nice to have some Animaniacs to take the edge off.

Jane update

In case you care...I did get to watch Jane Eyre a few weeks ago. It went well...until Katrina insisted on watching with me. I should saved it and savored it. In the end I didn't really get to focus, but I did get to see it. Hurrah!

First class

Well, I'm happy to report that I survived teaching my 3 hour class. How did it go? It was a first class. I have a lot to learn and some more practice to work on, but all in all it went fine. I teach again in 3 weeks, so I have time to hone my presentation and practice my demos. Thanks for your prayers.

Now I need to also find time to finish my certification.
