The big 3 sequels

Spiderman 3
Shrek 3
Pirates 3

Have you seen them? Do you think they are/will be as good as the original? Which is your favorite series? Which is the best of each series?

Will I ever get to a theater to see any of them? Here's hoping...at least the buck flicks...

Okay, I've seen all three of those, and I have to say that as far as sequels go they're pretty good. I absolutely recommend Shrek 3 - it's hilarious and every bit as good as the other two. Spiderman 3 is okay, good action stuff and it has a good ending to the trilogy. And Pirates 3 I saw last night and wrote about at length on my blog but I will say that I did enjoy it immensely...

I would rank the three in order of goodness but I think they're all so different from each other that you can't really compare them. But all three of them were much better than I was expecting from them.

Hmm...we've only seen Spiderman 1 on TBS (and even then I don't think I've seen it all the way through) no on 2, so we probably won't see 3 in the theater at least.

We haven't seen any of Pirates. I was never fond of the ride at Disneyland and still harboring my image of Johnny Depp on 21 Jump Street. *sigh*

We saw Shrek 1, but not 2, so maybe we'll rent that before we see it...but with this pregnancy, we might not make it to the theater anyway!

I've heard good reviews of Spiderman and the moral. Have you seen any of them yet?

We got a date night on Friday, so we went to pirates. I liked 3 better than 2...but if they would have stopped at 1, I think that would have been fine with me.

Shrek...hmmmm...seen the other two and found them fun, but I didn't "LOVE" them like it seems so many do. I'm guessing I'll see it eventually.

Spiderman...We saw the first. Roger didn't care to see the 2nd. I went to the buck flicks and ended up liking it. So, I'd like to see 3 eventually too.

Ratatouille may win out over either of them for our next venture to the theater...and I hate Paris. Really, I never want to go there--if I won a free trip there, I'd sell it and go somewhere much cooler. So, it better be good, Pixar!
