News

So we are currently debating getting rid of our newspaper. I love to read it...enough that I am currently making Roger take it with him to work, so I don't neglect my kids all day. He's signing up for getting the comics online, so that's all he needs. I am all for getting rid of the daily paper in terms of the pile of newsprint under the kitchen table. I'm not sure about not getting it at all. I like the Rocky Mountain News, so I keep thinking maybe I need to sign up for an online subscription. I suppose I need to start reading what's available for free before I decide to "buy" an online paper. Anyone else subscribe the RMN online and want to tell me the benefit?

I read the headlines at 9news.com ... and I'll tap over to foxnews.com for broader coverage ... takes about 10 minutes a day ... and that seems like about all the time I should invest and about all the information I need ...

If you go to insidedenver.com, you can read the majority of the articles in the paper online for free. In a quest to cut overhead costs at our house, I cut out the newspaper and I haven't missed it.
