I'm pretty sure they are doing them in the order that they were written not the chronological order. When I got these books as a kid, they were in the order (Lion, Prince, Dawn, Chair, Horse, Nephew, Battle).
I was disappointed in the Prince Caspian movie. It was a decent movie as movies go . . . but it wasn't quite the story C.S.Lewis wrote! The reason for the book & movie were the same - the final outcome was the same - the characters were right . . . but there the similarities end. They had some of the book in the movie - out of sequence and sometimes out of context. They wrote a lot of extra stuff into it. I kept turning to my friend saying "that wasn't in the book!" One time I said "that wasn't in the book . . . but it was good!" :-) Maybe I shouldn't have reread the book right before going to the moive! :-) Let me know what you think of it. Vera Leinbach
I didn't reread the book until after I saw the movie. I think that helped me enjoy it a lot more. I can see why they did what they did...it gave more interaction between the Prince and the kids. I think the book Prince Caspian was less memorable to me...so it will be interesting to see what happens with Voyage of the Dawn Treader. :)
I'm a Christ follower. I'm married to a great guy, and I'm the mother of 2 great kids. I'm an ENFP, golden retriever, green/peacekeeper with a spiritual gift of shepherding and my love language might be words of affirmation..or anything that shows me I was thought of.

Yay! I'm so excited! I'm kind of sad they skipped A Horse and his Boy though!
